What insurances do you accept?

We accept VSP, Eyemed, Versant Health (previously Davis Vision), Medi-Cal, and Medicare. It is best to call us to confirm eligibility since there are some insurances that have networks that we are not part of.

Does your office perform lasik or cataract surgery?

Unfortunately we don’t, but we do have several locations with trusted doctors that we refer our patients to and we co-manage our patients with. So that means, once you have your procedure done we can see you here for your post op visits.

Do you have contact lenses in stock?

We offer trial lenses on-site but don’t have full boxes in stock. We order a supply for you through CooperVision. They custom create lenses with your specific prescription and deliver within 1 week. If you order a 1 year supply of contact lenses we can ship directly to your home at no additional cost!

What’s the cost for an eye exam without insurance?

A comprehensive eye exam in which we conduct a series of tests and evaluations to provide information about your eye health and a prescription for glasses is $120.

Do I get a contact lens prescription along with my comprehensive eye exam?

A contact lens exam is in addition to your comprehensive eye exam. It incurs a separate cost. That cost depends on the insurance plan you have or without insurance it’s a cost of either $70 or $90 depending on the contact lenses prescribed.

Do you treat medical eye emergencies?

Yes we can! A medical eye emergency could be an eye infection, a stye, a foreign body in the eye, and any other sort of visit that has to do with the health of the eye. The consultation price ranges from $90-$225.

Do you treat dry eye?

Yes. Our doctors have over 10 years experience treating dry eye. We use a range of pharmaceutical agents and non-surgical treatments. It is important to start with a good diagnosis so our doctors spend the first exam with a diligent case history and a quality of life questionnaire. Many insurances cover dry eye treatments with some exceptions. Please call to inquire.

How long until my glasses/ contact lenses are ready?

Glasses usually depend on the lab we are required to use through the insurance. In most cases we usually receive them back from the lab within 2 weeks. Contact lenses usually take 1 week to come in.
